Jaringan Kristen Hijau is a network of Christian youths across denominations in Indonesia who share the same struggles, one of which is environmental sustainability. This organization was started by several young Christian theologians who saw the need for in-depth discussions on important public issues, including eco-theology, as a response to environmental problems and the destruction of nature in Indonesia. In one of the lectures, one of the members said “Jaringan Kristen Hijau sees that there is a need for human awareness to not only use nature for their needs but also to protect nature for the preservation and sustainability of nature itself, which also has an impact on human life.” Jaringan Kristen Hijau actively hosts dialogs or seminars held at churches or universities in Indonesia. In addition, their website provides related resources such as articles, sermons, book reviews, and interviews, all of which are free to use.
