The Decolonial Project is an online-based community that discusses decolonization issues taking place in various parts of the world. The Decolonial Project aims to educate the public through social media about the meaning or characteristics of decolonization that occur in everyday life so that people are more aware of what is happening around them. Not only through social media posts but this group also educates the public about decolonization through cinema and workshops that they can attend and interact with directly. In addition, they also provide summaries of “difficult” texts such as those of Fanon, Mignolo, Quijano, and others, which are typically digested in a closed academic conversation.
