About Mukabumi Resource Center

Mukabumi Resource Center is a free online hub of information for the intersectional studies of religion, ecology, & coloniality, created for various educational purposes and uses, such as research, teaching, advocacy, and discussion materials.

Purpose

To make the studies of religion, ecology, and coloniality accessible to the general public and non-academic learners as well as academics.

Strategies

  • To collect various types of archives from non-English speaking and other underrepresented communities such as books, articles (scholarly and popular), photos of paintings, photos of sculptures, general photographs, podcasts, poems, important authors/artists, newspapers, and other materials.
  • To re-narrate the unnamed struggle as well as the resistance being done by communities of the oppressed, especially in the context of environmental degradation, ecological devastation, or resource exploitation.
  • To build a network of scholars and activists from/related to non-English speaking and other underrepresented communities.
